Thank you to everyone who participated in our 1st Annual Holiday Food Drive. The Nevada Young Republicans collected and donated more than 100 cans of food and other non-perishable products to the Salvation Army.

Let’s do our part to help out our neighbors by collecting food this holiday season.

The Nevada Young Republicans are holding their 1st annual holiday food drive Saturday, December 10th. We’ll meet at 10am at the GrassRoots 2.0 office (140 Washington Street in Reno) and walk neighborhoods until 1pm. Food can also be delivered to the Washoe County HQ or GrassRoots 2.0 during the month of December. All food will be gathered at our December 14th Nevada Young Republican Christmas Party and will be delivered to local charities.

Food can be dropped off at:

  • December 10th Food Drive Canvass 10am-1pm – Meet @ GrassRoots 2.0 140 Washington Street
  • December 14th Nevada YR Christmas Party – Three cans of food will get you a free drink ticket
  • Washoe County GOP HQ at 3652 South Virginia Street, Suite C8 (Monday – Friday 11am-4pm)
  • GrassRoots 2.0 at 140 Washington Street, LL-80 (Monday – Friday 9am-5pm)
